Meet Our Staff

I am blessed to serve as the school director after having served in education with young children for over 20 years in the Albuquerque Public School system. I grew up in Santa Fe, NM and have lived in Albuquerque for 40 years. I became a member of Faith Lutheran Church 10 years ago and love to hear my daughter, Anna Gear and her husband Brady sing in our church band. I love spending time with my grandchildren, Hunter and Harper. I will strive to keep Children of Faith a quality Christian preschool and live out our mission to lead children to Christ.

 My name is Amanda Cipiti. I am married to my husband, Ben. We have two amazing kids, Dax is 11 and Celia is 8. I have an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and have been teaching on and off for 20 years. My soul is happy when I am outside, hiking and camping, being with my family, listening to music and reading. This will be my third year at Children of Faith and I'm very excited to be back in the classroom with your kiddos! .

Hello! My name is Janet Johnson, and I began teaching young children when my daughter's preschool invited me to join their teaching staff. What a blessing it was to be able to teach preschool right where my daughter went to school! It has given me great joy to have worked as a preschool teacher for almost 20 years now. I am excited to be joining the team at Faith, and to bring the word of the Lord to the children. 

It is a joy to be part of the Children of Faith team! To be back in New Mexico in a truly Christian environment teaching little ones is a delight.  I am a dynamic teacher with 16 years’ experience in a wide variety of educational settings. My experience includes teaching preschool through 8^th grade, as well as, special education in public, private, and international environments. I have a Master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Development. I specialize in developmentally appropriate teaching, behavior management, and scaffolding for learning differences. I began my career working in preschool and it is a pleasure to return to the age that I love. I look forward to serving families and teaching a lifelong love of learning here at Faith Lutheran.

Hi my name is Barbara Krenik. I am so excited for my first year at Children of Faith! I have a Master’s Degree in Education from DU and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UNM and I’ve enjoyed careers using both of my degrees over the years. I started my teaching career teaching High School at the Lutheran High Schools in Denver. When I moved back to Albuquerque in 2007 I spent the next 9 years working as a social worker! When I was offered a preschool teaching job in 2016, I took the job, and finally found my true love and calling! I LOVE teaching preschool! There is nothing quite like it! I LOVE how preschoolers are so excited by the world and how much they love discovering new things! I LOVE watching them learn and grow and play and laugh! It truly is pure joy!! I am mom to my two boys Kyan (8) and Kolton (2), and bonus mom to Kaidan (12) and Kaitlyn (22)! They all keep my husband Tim and I quite busy! My hobbies include being a baseball mom and I am an avid reader! I also love yoga! I can’t wait to get to know you all this year!
